下明修行，「云何」徵問，下對辯之。辯中，初明依法修行，「法者即是常樂我」下明所行法。前中初言「修行即檀乃至波若」明修正行。「知陰入」等明修正解。後明法中，初言「法者即常樂」等明法體相。「解大涅槃甚深義」下約解顯法。

Below it clarifies cultivation and practice. 'How is it...' investigates and asks; below it explains in response. In the explanation, it first clarifies cultivating practice in accordance with the Dharma; from 'The Dharma is namely permanence, bliss, self...' onward clarifies the dharma that is practiced. In the former, it first says, 'Cultivating practice is namely dāna up to prajñā,' clarifying the cultivation of correct practice; 'knowing the skandhas, āyatanas...' and so forth clarifies the cultivation of correct understanding. In clarifying the dharma afterwards, it first says, 'The Dharma is namely permanence, bliss...' and so forth, clarifying the essence and mark of the Dharma; from 'Understanding the profound meaning of the Mahānirvāṇa' onward reveals the Dharma through understanding.
