三舉人、舉境二種不定，難破解脫。「貪者境界二俱不定」立不定義，貪者是人，境是外緣。「何以」下釋，「俱緣一色」，生患各異，故知不定。「是故」下結，「若俱不」下牒前不定，難破解脫。

Third, citing the two kinds of indeterminacy of person and object, challenging and refuting liberation: "Both the greedy person and the object are indeterminate" posits the meaning of indeterminacy; the greedy one is the person, and the object is the external condition. From "Why" onward explains: "together cognizing one form," the afflictions that arise are each different; thus one knows it is indeterminate. From "Therefore" onward concludes. From "If both are not" onward reviews the preceding indeterminacy to challenge and refute liberation.
