難辭有七：一明涅槃斷煩惱得，本無今有，故是無常；二因莊嚴得故是無常；三有故無常；四以可見故是無常；五不平等故所以無常；六因恭敬得是以無常；七有名故當知無常。七中初六顯初難意，末後一番顯後二意。

The wording of the objections has seven [arguments]: first, showing that nirvāṇa is attained by severing defilements, being previously non-existent and now existent, and therefore is impermanent; second, that because it is attained through adornments, it is therefore impermanent; third, that because it exists, it is impermanent; fourth, that because it is visible, it is impermanent; fifth, that because it is unequal, it is therefore impermanent; sixth, that because it is attained through reverence, it is therefore impermanent; seventh, that because it has a name, one should know it is impermanent. Among these seven, the first six show the first intent of objection, and the final one shows the latter two intents.
