第六難中，先牒直非，「如佛所說因中果性非有無者是義不然」。「何以」下釋，先徵後辯，初就譬喻明因有果，成佛不然，「以是」下結。

In the sixth objection, it first cites and directly negates: 'As the Buddha stated, that within the cause the nature of the fruit is neither existent nor non-existent—this meaning is not so.' 'Why is this?' and so forth explains it, first asking and then debating. First, based on metaphors, it explains that the cause contains the fruit, establishing that the Buddha['s statement] is not so. 'For this reason' and so forth concludes.
