"Craving is existent..." and below reveals the latter gate; therein, it first clarifies that craving and the sense object of form are both inverted existence; "by this principle..." and below turns against inverted existence, explaining and clarifying that the bodhisattva's seeing emptiness is not inverted. In the former, it first clarifies that craving is inverted existence, and later clarifies that the sense object of form is also inverted existence. Within craving, it simply clarifies that it is existent and stops there, omitting the discussion of inversion. "Craving has the nature of existence, not the nature of emptiness" directly clarifies that craving is existent. "If craving were empty..." and below breaks down nonexistence to establish existence: "if craving were empty, one should not fall into hell" breaks down nonexistence; "if one falls into hell, how could it be empty?" reveals and establishes existence.
