喻中有六：初言「如火」喻前磁石。「不能焚薪」喻不吸鐵。亦以無心故言不焚。「火出薪壞」喻前異法有故出生。

Within the analogy there are six: first, saying "just as fire" is an analogy for the lodestone mentioned earlier. "Cannot burn fuel" is an analogy for not attracting iron. Also, because it lacks intention, it is said not to burn. "Fire emerges and fuel is destroyed" is an analogy for arising because other dharmas exist, as mentioned earlier.
