未得道者各發誓願：我等天人八部，今於佛前發誠實誓，願於未來世值遇彌勒，捨此身已皆得上生兜率陀天。

Those who had not yet attained the Way each made a vow: 'We devas, humans, and the eight classes of beings now make a sincere vow before the Buddha: we pray that in a future age we may encounter Maitreya, and that after relinquishing this body we all may attain ascent to birth in Tuṣita Heaven.'
