佛告阿難：是維摩詰、文殊師利與諸大眾恭敬圍繞發意欲來，故先為此瑞應。於是維摩詰語文殊師利：可共見佛。

The Buddha told Ānanda: 'This is Vimalakīrti and Mañjuśrī, respectfully surrounded by the great assembly, who have formed the intention to come, and therefore this auspicious response appeared first.' Thereupon Vimalakīrti said to Mañjuśrī: 'We may go together to see the Buddha
