[Kumāra]jīva says: This means not making the two characteristics of subtle and coarse for form.

[Seng]zhao says: The true divine eye refers to the markless eyes of the Tathāgata's dharmakāya: profoundly illuminating minute forms, seeing both the gigantic and the minute, all the myriad forms spreading wide as though before his eyes. He has never not seen, yet has never had seeing; therefore there are no dual characteristics of eye and form. The two vehicles see when in concentration and do not see when out of concentration. The Tathāgata is never not in concentration and never not seeing; therefore he is constantly in samādhi.
