3.89

諸論通經，類之可解，《中論》偈云「因緣所生法，我說即是空」，此申理外相即之二諦；「亦名為假名，亦名中道義」，此申理內不相即、相即之二諦。後兩品明聲聞入第一義，即是申三藏教，詮理外不相即二諦也。

All treatises accord with the sūtras, and by analogy this can be understood. The verse in the Madhyamaka-śāstra says: "The dharmas that arise from causes and conditions, I say are precisely empty." This explains the mutually identical two truths outside the principle. "They are also designated as provisional names, and also designated as the meaning of the middle way." This explains the non-identical and mutually identical two truths within the principle. As for the latter two chapters clarifying the śrāvakas' entering into the supreme truth, this explains the Tripiṭaka teaching, expressing the non-identical two truths outside the principle.
