二、明色經者，墨色之字為經也。墨色為字，能詮於理，見色得理，色即是經。故《大品經》云「若從經卷中聞般若」也。

Second, clarifying visible form sūtras: Characters of black ink are the sūtra. Black ink forming characters can express the principle; seeing the visible form, one attains the principle, so visible form is itself the sūtra. Therefore, the Dapin Jing says: 'If one hears prajñā from the sūtra scrolls...'
