Third, clarifying the verification and attainment: if one realizes the threefold contemplation in a single mind, this is precisely the three wisdoms in a single mind and the five eyes. If one attains the purification of the six sense faculties, it is called the realization in resemblance, which is the stage of the ten faiths. If one brings forth true uncontaminated [wisdom], it is called identity in partial realization of the real, which is the first abode. This sūtra says: 'Knowing all phenomena in a single thought-moment,' which is sitting in the place of enlightenment and accomplishing all-knowledge. Therefore, the Pañcaviṃśatisāhasrikā Prajñāpāramitā Sūtra says: 'There are bodhisattvas who, from their initial resolve, immediately sit in the place of enlightenment. One should know that such bodhisattvas are like the Buddha.' The Mahāprajñāpāramitopadeśa says: 'The three wisdoms are in fact attained within a single mind; the Buddha wished to explain them separately for people' so as to make them easy to understand, and thus explained them sequentially.
