問：此經未明開權顯實，何得明二乘生有餘土？答：經云「佛以一音演說法，眾生隨類各得解。」何妨二乘通教菩薩並得橫解，別圓兩教橫竪無礙？

Question: This sūtra does not yet reveal the provisional to manifest the real; how can it explain that the two vehicles are born in the land with remainder? Answer: The sūtra states, "The Buddha expounds the Dharma with a single voice, and sentient beings understand according to their kinds." What is to prevent the two vehicles and the bodhisattvas of the shared teaching from both attaining horizontal understanding, while the two teachings, distinct and complete, are unobstructed both horizontally and vertically?
