「隨其方便則成就眾生」者，方便既能巧破巧立，破故折伏、立故攝受。若眾生四教止行二善成者，四教智斷則立，即正報因果成也。

"According to one's expedient means, one matures sentient beings": since expedient means can skillfully refute and skillfully establish, by refuting one overcomes, and by establishing one gathers in. If sentient beings' two goods of refraining and acting under the four teachings are accomplished, the wisdom and severance of the four teachings are established, which is the accomplishment of the causes and fruits of the primary retribution.
