問：呵諸菩薩，定皆悉得一圓益不？答：一往尋呵四菩薩文似皆圓益，但餘菩薩各述之文，文既不度，豈可定判？且方等經猶帶方便，未全同《法華》，何容不得方便之益。

Question: In rebuking the bodhisattvas, do all of them definitely attain the benefit of the single perfect [teaching]? Answer: Upon a preliminary reading of the text rebuking the four bodhisattvas, it seems they all obtain the perfect benefit; but as for the texts in which the remaining bodhisattvas each recount [their rebukes], since those texts have not been translated, how could one definitively judge? Moreover, the vaipulya sūtras still carry provisional means and are not yet entirely identical with the Lotus Sūtra; how could they fail to obtain provisional benefits?
