6.59

「即語至應受」，二、淨名索女。「如我應受」者，此有二意：一我是俗人，納之非妨；二圓行大士達色源際，違順強軟無非正道，不以為妨，故言如我應受。

From "[Vimalakīrti] said" to "[one like me] should accept [them]," second, Vimalakīrti asks for the women. Regarding "one like me should accept them," this has two meanings: first, I am a layperson, so taking them in does no harm; second, a great being of perfect practice penetrates to the source and boundary of form, where adverse and favorable, hard and soft, are all nothing other than the correct path, and he does not consider it an obstacle; therefore he says that one like him should accept them.
