二、通正說，二：初、標示。二、「一通」下，解釋，三：初、通室外，二：初、標。二、「寶積」下，釋，二：初、通半品。「復土至小乘益」者，適淨今穢，因悟無常，故見復土而得小益。「此品之玄旨也」者，荊溪云：此一品文義兼序正，序中表發入正宛然，故下正說玄旨在茲。

Second, understanding the main discourse, which has two parts: first, indicating [it]; second, from "One, understanding..." onward, explaining [it], which has three parts: first, understanding what is outside the room, which has two parts: first, indicating; second, from "Baoji..." onward, explaining, which has two parts: first, understanding the half-chapter. Regarding "From restoring the land up to the benefit of the small vehicle": having just been pure and now defiled, by realizing impermanence one therefore sees the land restored and attains the small benefit. Regarding "This is the profound purport of this chapter": Jingxi says: "The text and meaning of this single chapter comprise both the preface and the main discourse. In the preface, the manifestation and initiation into the main discourse are vivid and clear; therefore, the profound purport of the main discourse below resides right here."
