Second, from "Answer" below, the explanation, in two parts: first, clarifying that the compilation of the sūtra piṭaka is called "I heard", in two parts: first, hearing indirectly. First, relying on the Mahāprajñāpāramitōpadeśa, it seems like hearing from another; next, citing the Śāriputra-paripṛcchā Sūtra, it is hearing for oneself through the power of samādhi—hence it is called indirect. As for "Buddha's awakening", it simply means that the Buddha augmented his cognitive power to be like a Buddha, hence it is called the samādhi of Buddha's awakening. Having already realized this, he did not hear it from another; thus it says that he was himself able to use the power of his fundamental vow to uphold the Buddha's Dharma.
