4.104

費財增病諍（三），裸露人不敬（二），
無智得者失（二），說匿癈事業（二），
醒慚身力少（二），色壞慢父母（三），
不敬於沙門（一），及以婆羅門（一），
不敬親三寶（四），朋惡遠賢善（二），
破戒無慚愧（二），不守精縱色（二），
人憎親擯棄（二），行惡棄善法（二），
朋人不信用（一），遠離於涅槃（一），
狂因墮惡道（二），為人常癡狂（一），
失有三十五，智論廣明之。

Wasting wealth, increasing illness and disputes (3), / Becoming naked and unrespected by others (2), / Lacking wisdom, what was gained is lost (2), / Revealing secrets and abandoning livelihood (2), / Sobriety brings shame, bodily strength decreases (2), / Complexion ruined, slighting father and mother (3), / Disrespect toward śramaṇas (1), / And toward brāhmaṇas (1), / Disrespect toward relatives and the Three Jewels (4), / Befriending the evil, distancing the worthy and good (2), / Breaking the precepts, lacking shame and remorse (2), / Failing to guard the essence, indulging in sex (2), / Detested by people, discarded by relatives (2), / Practicing evil, abandoning wholesome dharmas (2), / Companions do not trust or rely on one (1), / Distanced far from nirvāṇa (1), / The cause of madness, falling into evil destinies (2), / As a human, perpetually foolish and deranged (1). / The faults number thirty-five; / The Treatise on Wisdom clarifies them at length.
