十、痛對阿難。「四卷」者，荊溪云：《阿毘曇心論》文有四卷，古譯受數名之為痛。「雜心」者，《雜心論》也。所以雙引兩名者，明痛是受，恐人誤解，故並列之。

Tenth, matching pain with Ānanda. "Four fascicles": Jingxi says: "The text of the *Abhidharma-hṛdaya-śāstra* has four fascicles; the ancient translation termed the mental factor of sensation (*vedanā*) as 'pain'. 'Miscellaneous Heart' refers to the *Saṃyuktābhidharma-hṛdaya-śāstra*. The reason both names are cited is to clarify that 'pain' is sensation; fearing people might misunderstand, they are listed together."
