六、折非真滅。荊溪云：不入數故，終不能得大般涅槃，大般涅槃即大滅度。縱有入數尚未得滅，況不入數焉能得滅？此縱斥耳。終無入數而不滅度。

Sixth, reducing them to not being true cessation. Jingxi says: "Because he does not enter the count, he can never attain Great Parinirvāṇa; Great Parinirvāṇa is Great Cessation. Even if one enters the count, one has not yet attained cessation, so how could one who does not enter the count be able to attain cessation? This is a concessionary reproach. Ultimately, there is no case of entering the count without attaining cessation."
