二、光嚴致敬作禮者，迹同鄉黨，現修長幼禮也。《西域記》云「彼土致敬之式，其儀有九：一發言慰問、二俯首示敬、三舉手高揖、四合掌平拱、五屈膝、六長跪、七手膝據地、八五輪俱屈、九五體投地。」

Second, regarding Prabhāvyūha paying respect and making prostrations: his trace was the same as a fellow townsman, visibly practicing the etiquette between elder and younger. The Record of the Western Regions states: "The etiquette of paying respect in that land has nine rites: first, speaking words of greeting; second, bowing the head to show respect; third, raising the hands in a high salute; fourth, joining the palms in a level clasp; fifth, bending the knees; sixth, kneeling on both knees; seventh, kneeling with hands and knees on the ground; eighth, bending all five limbs; ninth, throwing the five limbs to the ground."
