二、料簡。荊溪云：答至實疾也者，固勸學者順大師意，見諸經論不須違拒，達通二義教復無違，故以寂光與三土體體常相即，復順三品寂光之文。

Second, critical differentiation. Jingxi says: As for "answering up to the real illness": it firmly exhorts scholars to accord with the Great Master's intent; upon seeing various sūtras and treatises, they need not oppose or reject them. When one comprehends the two meanings, the teachings are furthermore not in contradiction. Therefore, the quiescent light and the three lands are essentially and continually identical in substance, which also accords with the text on the three grades of quiescent light.
