Seventh, regarding the question of where the liberation of all Buddhas should be sought, there are two parts: first the question, second the answer. The answer has two parts: first, explaining the three kinds of perfect interpenetration of liberation within the mind, which has two parts: first, generally clarifying liberation. Regarding "prajñā", etc.: the first line clarifies that all Buddhas attained Buddhahood because they contemplated their own mind as not different from the Buddha's mind. The next line explains the contemplated mind in the preceding line: the mind is like the Buddha's mind; the Buddha's mind is without defilement, and one's own mind is also without it. The next line: the five destinies arise from the mind. The mind's essence is fundamentally pure; though it pervades the five destinies, it does not receive their forms. Just as one with diseased eyes sees flowers everywhere in space—though the flowers pervade space, space receives nothing. Ice, waves, and the wetness of water are also like this. The next line concludes the intention of the contemplation. One who attains this understanding achieves the path of perfect interpenetration.
