五、約依正，三：初、標示。二、正釋，二：初、約依報結成佛國宗。二、約正報結成解脫體。三、「若諸」下，斥古。「云何消此經文」者，以經顯然明界外依正，故如向消文是也。

Fifth, concerning circumstantial and direct [rewards] has three [parts]: first, marking and indicating; second, the actual explanation, which has two [parts]: first, concluding the tenets of the Buddha-land in terms of circumstantial retribution; second, concluding the essence of liberation in terms of direct retribution; third, from "if all" downward, refuting the ancients—regarding "how can one interpret this sūtra text?", because the sūtra clearly clarifies circumstantial and direct [rewards] beyond the realms, hence interpreting the text as above is correct.
