Second, from "contemplating this..." onward, giving rise to wisdom. Since one contemplates the four truths directly within the single mind, when contemplating them unceasingly, the eye and wisdom arise to uphold and guard spontaneously, so that the wondrous principle is not lost and inverted delusions do not arise. However, one must deeply discern that the four truths in the perfect contemplation are all called non-action. Suffering and accumulation, as contrary cultivation, have inherent evil as their essence; the contrary is immediate to the accordant, and the path and cessation are free of effort. Therefore it is said: "The aggregates and sense fields are all suchness, with no suffering to be abandoned; defilements are originally pure, with no accumulation to be eliminated; extremes and heterodoxies are all centered and upright, with no path to be cultivated; birth-and-death is nirvāṇa, with no cessation to be realized." Seeing this brilliantly is called giving rise to the wisdom of the truths.
