二、引經證。人護者，女人志弱，故藉三護，幼小父母護、適人夫婚護、夫死子息護。法護，謂受五八等戒也。

Second, citing sūtras to corroborate it. Regarding "human guardians," because women's resolve is weak, they rely on three guardians: in childhood, parents guard them; when marrying, the husband's family guards them; when the husband dies, the sons guard them. "Dharma guardians" refers to receiving the five or eight precepts and so forth.
