二、懺煩惱障，二：初、分文。二、釋義，二：初、出相。經「業垢」者，業名動作，煩惱心動成於垢染。亦可煩惱從宿業生，故名業垢。

Second, repenting of afflictive obstacles, in two parts: first, dividing the text; second, explaining the meaning, in two parts: first, bringing out the characteristics. As for "karmic defilement" in the sūtra, "karma" is named for movement and action; when the afflictive mind moves, it results in defilement. It may also be that afflictions arise from past karma, hence it is called karmic defilement.
