Second, from "Regarding this" onward, pointing back to the three dharmas. Saying that one discusses the Suvarṇaprabhāsa in this chapter means discussing the three dharma gates with respect to what it teaches. The text of the Commentary merely says 'discussing the Suvarṇaprabhāsa,' proving that these three names are established directly in terms of dharma and truly do not derive from metaphor, as is the case throughout the earlier and later passages. Lecturers and students should know this, know this! However, matching these phrases to the three characters is because these three are the names of the very essence of the profound and vast dharma nature: dharma nature being venerable and precious is named 'gold'; dharma nature being quiescent yet constantly illuminating is named 'light'; dharma nature being able to benefit abundantly is named 'splendour'; they are neither two nor different from the various three dharmas. If one points to the phenomenal, the noumenal, the dependent, and the primary within this chapter as being precisely these three, it enables the practitioner to penetrate the taught meaning—neither vertical nor horizontal, beyond thought and discussion—so that this scripture can truly be named the King of Sūtras. Thus one knows that matching with the three has profound reasons. This itself is divided into three:
