The various Prajñā classes broadly demonstrate the emptiness-wisdom of the three teachings within the Mahāyāna, and further take the Tripiṭaka as a contemplation to assist the path; this broadly discourses on the characteristics of emptiness for those of sharp faculties who retain what they hear. The faculties for this emptiness-wisdom, though sharp in retaining meaning, are dull in retaining what they hear; hence it does not broadly discourse on the four kinds of emptiness characteristics, but only speaks of the one Middle emptiness-wisdom wherein the extremes themselves are emptiness.
