5.200

經　爾時四天王聞是頌已，歡喜踊躍白佛言：「世尊！我從昔來未曾得聞如是甚深微妙之音，心生悲喜涕淚交流舉身戰動，證不思議希有之事。」以天曼陀羅華、摩訶曼陀羅華而散佛上。作是殊勝供養佛已，白佛言：「世尊！我等四王各有五百藥叉眷屬，常當處處擁護是經及說法師，以智光明而為助衛。若於此經所有句義忘失之處，我皆令彼憶念不忘，并與陀羅尼殊勝法門令得具足。復欲令此最勝經王所在之處，為諸眾生廣宣流布，不速隱沒。」

Sūtra: At that time, when the Four Heavenly Kings had heard these gāthās, they leapt with joy and said to the Buddha: "World-Honored One! From the past until now, we had never heard such a profound and exquisite sound; our minds gave rise to grief and joy, tears flowed mingled together, our whole bodies trembled and shook, and we realized an inconceivable and rare thing." Scattering heavenly māndārava flowers and mahāmāndārava flowers over the Buddha, having made this supreme offering to the Buddha, they said to the Buddha: "World-Honored One! We Four Kings each have a retinue of five hundred yakṣas; we will constantly protect this sūtra and the Dharma masters everywhere, assisting and guarding them with the light of wisdom. If there is any place where the phrases and meanings of this sūtra are forgotten, we will cause them to remember and not forget, and endow them with the supreme Dharma door of dhāraṇī so that they may attain fulfillment. Furthermore, we wish that wherever this most victorious king of sūtras is found, it will be widely proclaimed and circulated for the sake of all sentient beings, and will not quickly disappear."
