下第五顯勝勸修，有二：初讚法功能、後校量勝劣。初中有七：一告所被機。二「此無染著」下指所讚法。三「若菩薩」下明能學人。四「能善安住」下明依修學，能善安住以此呪為所依，能正受持依起法行。正受聞慧，正持思修慧。五「當知是人」下得益，有二：一攝內能令發願無有窮盡，得不退故；二身亦不被。又防外非惡所侵。六「何以故」，徵所因。七「舍利子」下解所以。

Below is the fifth section, revealing the excellence to encourage cultivation, which has two parts: first, praising the function of the Dharma; second, evaluating its superiority and inferiority. In the first part there are seven points: 1. addressing the intended audience; 2. from "this [dhāraṇī of] non-attachment" below, pointing out the praised Dharma; 3. from "if there are bodhisattvas" below, clarifying the persons capable of training; 4. from "can dwell well in them" below, clarifying reliance on cultivation and training: being able to dwell well in them means taking this mantra as their support; being able to properly receive and uphold them means generating the practice of the Dharma based on them—properly receiving pertains to the wisdom resulting from hearing, and properly upholding pertains to the wisdom resulting from reflection and cultivation; 5. from "you should know that this person" below, attaining benefits, which has two aspects: first, gathering inward can cause the vows made to be without exhaustion, because of attaining non-retrogression; second, "their bodies will not be harmed", which prevents external wrongdoing and evil from invading; 6. "Why is this?", questioning the reason; 7. from "Śāriputra" below, explaining the cause.
