下明所護得益，復二：初法師益、後「以是因緣」下聽者益。法師益中，初牒所以，以我有四種智故能益法師。能益法師，有八：一益辨才；二「亦令」下益身力；三益威光；四益智慧，且舉智光，餘智俱明，故云皆得；五益念力；六益不退；七「增彼身」下增壽無減；八「諸根」下益其安樂。

Below clarifies the benefit obtained by those who are protected, again in two parts: first, the benefit to the Dharma master; later, from "By this cause and condition" onward, the benefit to the listeners. Within the benefit to the Dharma master, first, reiterating the reason: because I have the four kinds of wisdom, I am therefore able to benefit the Dharma master. Being able to benefit the Dharma master has eight aspects: 1. benefiting eloquence; 2. from "also causes" onward, benefiting physical strength; 3. benefiting majesty and light; 4. benefiting wisdom—tentatively mentioning the light of wisdom, while the other wisdoms are equally clarified, hence it says "all are accomplished"; 5. benefiting the power of mindfulness; 6. benefiting non-retrogression; 7. from "augments his body" onward, increasing lifespan without decline; 8. from "sense faculties" onward, benefiting their peace and joy.
