下十七頌半明依正法故福臻。分之為二：初四頌標行正法、後十三頌半依標廣釋。標中有二：此二頌標罰惡。罰惡有二：初頌罰惡人、後頌得天護。次二頌標勸善。勸善有二：初一頌勸修善、後一頌得菩提。

Below, seventeen and a half verses explain how blessings arrive because of relying on the true Dharma. They are divided into two parts: first, four verses indicate practicing the true Dharma; later, thirteen and a half verses broadly explain it according to what was indicated. Within the indication, there are two parts: these two verses indicate punishing evil. Punishing evil has two parts: the first verse punishes evil people; the latter verse attains heavenly protection. The next two verses indicate exhorting to good. Exhorting to good has two parts: the first verse exhorts the cultivation of good; the latter verse attains bodhi.
