6.127

經　「時長者子作如是念：『我入池中，可為眾魚說深妙法。』作是念已即便入水，唱言：『南謨過去寶髻如來、應、正遍知、明行足、善逝、世間解、無上士、調御丈夫、天人師、佛、世尊。此佛往昔修菩薩行時作是誓願：「於十方界所有眾生，臨命終時聞我名者，命終之後得生三十三天。」』」

The sūtra [states]: "At that time, the merchant's son thought thus: 'Entering the pond, I can preach the profound and sublime Dharma for the fish.' Having had this thought, he entered the water and proclaimed aloud: 'Homage to the past Tathāgata, Arhat, Samyaksambuddha, Vidyācaraṇasaṃpanna, Sugata, Lokavid, Anuttarapuruṣadamayasārathi, Śāstādevamanuṣyāṇām, Buddha, Bhagavān Ratnaśikhin! When this Buddha in the past practiced the bodhisattva path, he made this vow: "Whatever sentient beings throughout the realms of the ten directions hear my name at the time of their death shall, after dying, be born in the Trayastriṃśa Heaven."'"
