此言自共相等諸法不出二種自性，由緣起自性而生妄想自性之相，故復以喻顯之。依草木等作種種幻，此喻緣起自性也。若干形色等者，謂妄想自性也。彼諸妄想如幻師作諸幻相，故云「亦無真實」也。

This says that all dharmas such as svalakṣaṇa and sāmānyalakṣaṇa do not go beyond the two kinds of svabhāva: from paratantra-svabhāva, the characteristics of parikalpita-svabhāva arise; therefore an analogy is once again used to reveal this. "Relying on grass, trees, and so forth to produce various illusions" is an analogy for paratantra-svabhāva. "Sundry shapes and colours" refers to parikalpita-svabhāva. Those vikalpas are like the illusory forms made by a magician; hence it says "they also have no reality."
