「大慧！云何性妄想自性計著相聲聞？所謂大種青黃赤白、堅濕煖動非作生，自相共相先勝善說，見已，於彼起自性妄想。菩薩摩訶薩於彼應知應捨，隨入法無我相，滅人無我相見，漸次諸地相續建立，是名諸聲聞性妄想自性計著相。」

"Mahāmati, what is the śrāvaka with the characteristics of grasping at the svabhāva of imagined natures? It refers to the great elements of blue, yellow, red, and white, and solidity, moisture, warmth, and motion, not being born of making, and their svalakṣaṇa and sāmānyalakṣaṇa having been well expounded by earlier conquerors; having seen this, they give rise to the vikalpa of svabhāva regarding them. A bodhisattva mahāsattva should understand this and abandon it, accord with and enter into the characteristics of the selflessness of dharmas, extinguish views regarding the characteristics of the selflessness of persons, and successively establish the stages in continuity. This is called the characteristics of grasping at the svabhāva of imagined natures of all śrāvakas."
