「復次大慧！云何非有相建立相？謂陰界入非有自共相而起計著，此如是、此不異，是名非有相建立相。此非有相建立妄想，無始虛偽過，種種習氣計著生。」

"Furthermore, Mahāmati! What is the characteristic of affirming non-existent lakṣaṇa? It means that when aggregates, elements, and sense bases have no svalakṣaṇa or sāmānyalakṣaṇa, one gives rise to clinging: "this is thus; this is not different." This is called the characteristic of affirming non-existent lakṣaṇa. This vikalpa of affirming non-existent lakṣaṇa arises from the fault of beginningless falsehood and clinging to various vāsanā."
