佛告大慧：「空空者，即是妄想自性處。大慧！妄想自性計著者，說空、無生、無二、離自性相。大慧！彼略說七種空：謂相空、性自性空、行空、無行空、一切法離言說空、第一義聖智大空、彼彼空。」

The Buddha told Mahāmati: 'Emptiness of emptiness is precisely the locus of the imagined svabhāva. Mahāmati, for those who cling to the imagined svabhāva, emptiness, non-arising, non-duality, and the characteristic of being free from self-nature are taught. Mahāmati, in brief there are seven kinds of emptiness: namely, emptiness of characteristics, emptiness of the self-nature of natures, emptiness of action, emptiness of non-action, emptiness of all dharmas being free from verbal expression, the great emptiness of the noble knowledge of the ultimate truth, and mutual emptiness.'
