「云何相空？謂一切性自共相空，觀展轉積聚故，分別無性，自共相不生，自他俱性無性，故相不住，是故說一切性相空，是名相空。」

"What is the emptiness of characteristics? It means that the individual and general characteristics of all natures are empty. Because they are observed to be mutually accumulated, upon discrimination there is no nature; individual and general characteristics do not arise, and the natures of self, other, and both have no nature, so the characteristics do not abide. Therefore it is said that the characteristics of all natures are empty; this is called the emptiness of characteristics."
