佛告大慧：「無性而作言說，謂兔角、龜毛等，世間現言說。大慧！非性非非性，但言說耳。如汝所說，言說有性、有一切性者，汝論則壞。」

The Buddha told Mahāmati: "Without svabhāva, words are made—such as 'hare's horns,' 'tortoise's hair,' and so on, which are words currently used in the world. Mahāmati, they are neither svabhāva nor non-svabhāva; they are merely words. If, as you say, words have svabhāva and everything has svabhāva, your proposition is ruined."
