「大慧！阿羅漢者，謂諸禪三昧、解脫力、明，煩惱、苦妄想非性故，名阿羅漢。」
"Mahāmati, as for the arhat: it means that because dhyānas, samādhis, powers of liberation, and clear knowledges, as well as afflictions and the discrimination of suffering, are of non-nature, they are called an arhat."
