Regarding "accumulating karma": "collecting" means grasping, and "accumulating" means summoning; because sense faculties confront sense objects and give rise to attachment, generating good and bad karma that summons birth and death, this is called consciousness. Being able to understand that sense faculties and sense objects transcend duality, with both object and self forgotten, not giving rise to attachment, is called knowledge. Observing conditioned dharmas in this way as empty in their very substance, liberated and sovereign, is called supreme knowledge; wisdom here is knowledge. Outside of the mind there are no objects; not understanding that it is only mind, one is turned by objects—this is called "binding". Mind is consciousness; awakening to this false mind is knowledge. The meaning of the two lines starting with "non-existence" has been explained above.
