此結斥前諸妄想執著。此及餘者，此指內教弟子，其執猶輕，餘指外道，其執乃重，故曰「凡愚妄想」。如蠶作繭，以妄想絲自纏纏他，莫能自出，卒墮於有無、斷常之見而已。

This concludes by rebuking the preceding vikalpas and clingings. 'This and other': 'this' refers to the disciples of the inner teaching, whose clinging is relatively light; 'other' refers to the tīrthikas, whose clinging is heavy, hence it is called 'the vikalpa of the foolish.' Like a silkworm making a cocoon, with the threads of vikalpa it entangles itself and entangles others, unable to get out on its own, ultimately falling into the views of existence and nonexistence, eternalism and annihilationism, and nothing more.
