3.89

妄想等者，由無始妄想熏習，次第轉生種種心識，妄心既作，見有外境，此世俗心量也。然外境本無，由心取之見種種相，即五塵等是身財建立，謂五識身財即妄想心量也。

As for "vikalpa and the like": through beginningless perfuming of vikalpa, various minds and consciousnesses successively transform and arise. Once the deluded mind is active, it sees external realms; this is the mind-measure of the worldly. However, external realms are originally non-existent; through the mind's grasping, it sees manifold lakṣaṇas. That is, the five dusts and so forth are the establishment of body and possessions; this means the body and possessions of the five consciousnesses are the mind-measure of vikalpa.
