4.73

「因緣數和合，則有生有滅，
離諸因緣數，無別有生滅。
捨離因緣數，更無有異性，
若言一異者，是外道妄想。
有無性不生，非有亦非無，
除其數轉變，是悉不可得。」

"When causes, conditions, and categories combine, / Then there are arising and cessation; / Free from causes, conditions, and categories, / There are no distinct arising and cessation. / Renouncing causes, conditions, and categories, / There is no other distinct svabhāva; / If one speaks of identity and difference, / These are the vikalpas of tīrthikas. / The svabhāva of existence or nonexistence does not arise, / It is neither existent nor nonexistent; / Except for the transformation of these categories, / All of these cannot be apprehended."
