"Furthermore, Mahāmati, there are external uninterrupted deeds, which I shall now expound. Having heard this meaning, you and other bodhisattva-mahāsattvas will not fall into foolish delusion in future ages. What are the five uninterrupted deeds? They are the uninterrupted deeds spoken of previously. If one commits these, in each of the three liberations one will not attain the dharma of immediate realization. Excepting this, there are the manifestations of immediate realization through other transformative spiritual powers—that is, the transformative spiritual power of śrāvakas, the transformative spiritual power of bodhisattvas, and the transformative spiritual power of Tathāgatas—manifesting immediate realization through spiritual transformation in order to dispel doubt and bring about repentance for others who have committed uninterrupted offenses, and in order to encourage and inspire them. There is no case where one who purely commits uninterrupted deeds fails not to attain immediate realization, unless one is aware of cittadṛśyamātra, is free from false discrimination regarding body and wealth, is free from grasping at 'I' and 'mine', or at some time encounters a good spiritual friend and is liberated from the continuity of false discrimination in other destinies."
