1.186

若人於一日之中而能修習，常念於道，憶持不忘。或於一日而常行道，修習不怠。乃能成就信等諸根，得無量福。一日尚然，而況多日，其福彌盛。

If a person is able to cultivate within a single day, constantly contemplating the Way and mindfully retaining it without forgetting, or within a single day constantly practices the Way, cultivating without indolence, they can accomplish the faculties such as faith and attain immeasurable merit. If this is so for a single day, how much more so for many days—their merit will be all the more abundant.
