說是語已，即時阿難及諸大眾得蒙如來開示密印般怛囉義，兼聞此經了義名目，頓悟禪那，修進聖位增上妙理，心慮虛凝，斷除三界修心六品微細煩惱。

When these words had been spoken, immediately Ānanda and the great assembly received the Tathāgata's demonstration of the meaning of the secret seal, the [Sitāta]patrā, and also heard the definitive names of this sūtra; they were suddenly awakened to dhyāna, advanced in practice in the supreme wondrous principle of the noble stages, their mental deliberations became empty and stilled, and they severed the six grades of subtle afflictions of the mind of cultivation belonging to the three realms.
