若受他欲來，自有緣事，對僧說者言：「大德僧聽！我某甲比丘病患因緣，某甲比丘僧事因緣，我受彼欲清淨。彼及我身，如法僧事，與欲清淨。」說訖即出。

If one has received another's chanda and arrives, but has personal business and speaks before the saṃgha, one says: 'May the venerable saṃgha listen! I, bhikṣu so-and-so, due to the condition of illness, and bhikṣu so-and-so, due to the condition of saṃgha affairs: I have received his chanda and purity. For his person and for myself, we grant chanda and purity for the legal affairs of the saṃgha.' Having spoken, one leaves immediately.
